OPP (Oriented Polypropylene)

OPP (Oriented Polypropylene) is a particularly popular bag material when it comes to transparent , high-quality packaging . Due to its special orientation during the manufacturing process, OPP is more transparent than CPP , allowing a particularly clear view of the packaged product – ideal for attractive product presentations.

The material has a high-gloss surface , creating a sophisticated look on the shelf. OPP's characteristic feature is the pleasant crackling sound that signals freshness when the package is opened. At the same time, OPP is tasteless and odorless , as well as food-safe , making it ideal for direct contact with food.

In addition to its visual impact, OPP also offers good rigidity , excellent printing properties and very good processability – an optimal solution for dimensionally stable and visually appealing bag packaging.

CPP (Cast Polypropylene)

HDPE (high-density polyethylene)

HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is a particularly strong plastic often used for bags and film packaging in the food industry. Compared to LDPE, HDPE is stiffer , has a matte surface , and appears stronger and more dimensionally stable .

HDPE is characterized by its milky-white appearance , which makes it particularly suitable for discreet or technical packaging. Despite its increased strength, HDPE remains lightweight and is characterized by the crisp, crunchy feel typical of fresh produce. The material is, of course, food-safe , odorless, and tasteless , making it ideal for direct contact with food.

Thanks to its high density, HDPE offers a good barrier effect against moisture and is therefore a reliable material for hygienic and functional packaging solutions.

VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor)

VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) is a special polyethylene-based bag material that not only packages but also actively protects. With incorporated corrosion protection molecules , VCI film provides an invisible protective film for metallic surfaces – without the need for additional oiling or post-treatment.

VCI bags are particularly suitable for packaging metal parts, machine components, and tools that need to be protected from rust and oxidation during storage or transport. The material is food-safe (depending on the type) , recyclable , and easy to use: simply insert the metal parts, seal them, and they're protected.

The polyethylene base makes the bag flexible , tear-resistant and moisture-repellent , while the VCI active ingredients continuously release corrosion-inhibiting vapors that attach to metallic surfaces.
